2016\/426 \/ EG – CE certification for gas appliances<\/h3>\n

A gas consumption device in the broader sense is any device that uses natural gas to convert energy.<\/p>\n

The Gas Appliances Directive is being replaced by the new ordinance on appliances for the combustion of gaseous fuels and parts that are to be installed in gas appliances – legally valid since 2018.<\/p>\n

All non-compliant gas products must be withdrawn from the market. The new Regulation 2016\/426 contains several important updates to the existing requirements of the Gas Appliances Directive 2009\/142 \/ EC that manufacturers and distributors should be aware of and understand the implications of.<\/p>\n

Accordingly, they are considered to be a gas consumption device<\/h3>\n

  • Appliances that are used for cooking, heating, water heating, cooling, lighting or washing purposes and with gaseous<\/li>\n
  • Fuels are operated at a normal water temperature of not more than 105 \u00b0 C<\/li>\n
  • Forced gas burners and the associated heat exchangers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
